Dear Jesus:
I just thought I'd write this simple note,
To say thanks for all you do.
From the bottom of my heart and soul,
Dear Jesus Christ, thank you.
For every perfect sunset,
And for each sunrise anew,
For every day that lies between,
Dear Jesus Christ, thank you.
For when my soul is troubled,
And my poor heart breaks in two.
Then the Holy Spirit comforts me,
Dear Jesus Christ, thank you.
For the times my life was stormy,
And the bitter cold winds blew,
You sheltered me in your arms of love,
Dear Jesus Christ, thank you.
For the times when I was weary,
You helped me make it through,
For helping me to my feet again,
Dear Jesus Christ, thank you.
For the times that you forgave me,
For sins committed against you,
And welcomed me back into the fold,
Dear Jesus Christ, thank you
For the blood you shed upon the cross,
To bring Salvation, pure and true,
For saving my soul with Mercy and Grace,
My Dear Jesus Christ, thank you.
Strong as an army
Tall as a tree
You lift me
Up, so that I may
See, you
My savior
Set me free
You hold my hand along the way
To me, you give the words to say
When I am weary, down, and gone
Assurance you bring
This won't
Last for long
A spark, a ray of hope
Your shining glory, tosses me a rope
You pull me in and spin me 'round, it's

You helped me found

I knew you were

Your presence

You truly care

And silently already I'm grieving
The hour when from here you have flown.
For life can be a cold wind blasting
As in its vast plain you trod,
But there's one sure thing everlasting,

In all of your joy and your sorrows,
In failure or in your success,
In the mystery of a thousand tomorrows
Which I pray, hold for you happiness,
In all of your coming and going
Wherever in life you may trod,
There's a quiet peace ever-glowing

Remember Him in all of your choices
When you rise to face a new day,
Remember Him when dark, evil voices
Threaten to lure you away,
Remember this great, great salvation,
And trust Him as onward you trod,
For we serve the Lord of creation
